What Slabby's stores, what stays private, and what you can change.

Last updated October 3, 2026

The short version

Slabby's stores what it needs to run a card marketplace: your account, the cards you show off and list, the deals you make, and the razs you take part in. Anyone can browse the marketplace, groups and profiles without signing up — nothing about you is collected until you create an account.

Your ID document, legal name, mailing address and payment handles are private, and are never shown on your public profile or listings. So are what you paid for a card, the total value of your collection, the cards you watch, and your private messages.

What we collect

  • Account details: your email, and the display name, username, bio, profile photo and interests you choose.
  • Card details: the photos, titles, descriptions, category, condition, year, brand, grade, asking price, trade interests and accepted payment methods of anything you list or add to your collection.
  • Collection details: the cards you keep there, which of them you mark private, and — readable only by you — what you paid for each one.
  • Deal details: offers and counter-offers, trade proposals and the cards in them, messages and photos you send, and the vouches and star ratings left after a deal.
  • Raz details: the spots you take and your spot number, whether the host has marked your spots paid, and — if you win — the name and shipping address you send the host.
  • Watchlist: the cards you are watching, which only you can see.
  • Private details, only if you choose to provide them: the legal name, mailing address and licence photo used for identity verification, and the payment handles you add so buyers can pay you.
  • Technical details: basic usage information, such as how many times a listing has been viewed, so we can keep the app working.

How we use it

To show your listings and collection cards, deliver offers, messages and group posts to the right people, run razs, price cards using third-party card data, verify identity when you ask for verification, and keep the marketplace free of misuse.

Card photos you upload may be read by an automated service to fill in the card details and match a market value. Confirmed card details are kept on file so the next collector listing the same card has less to type.

When you ask to be verified, the licence photo you upload is sent to an automated service to read the name printed on it and check it matches the legal name you entered.

We email you about the things you asked to be told about: an offer or counter-offer on one of your cards, a card you watch dropping in price or turning up in the market, and razs you run or hold a spot in. Every kind of alert can be switched off in My Account.

What is public and what is private

Public: your username, display name, profile photo and bio; your vouch count and your verified and Premium badges; the listings and collection cards you make public; your posts, comments and group memberships; the spot numbers you hold in a raz; your followers, likes, views and star ratings.

Card photos you upload for a listing or your collection sit at a permanent public web address, which is what lets them show up in the marketplace.

Private: your email; your legal name, mailing address and licence photo; the payment handles you add; what you paid for each card and the total value of your collection; the cards you watch; your private messages, which are read by you and the other collector in the conversation; and your alerts.

Shared with one other collector when a deal calls for it: your payment handles, and your real name, address and licence photo if you choose to hand them over for that deal. A raz winner's shipping address goes to the host who ran that raz, and nowhere else.

Spot raffles (razs)

A raz is a raffle run by another collector inside a group. Taking a spot shares your username and your email with the host, so he can see who holds each spot and keep track of who has paid.

Payment for spots is settled between you and the host off the platform — Slabby's never holds the money for a raz, and marking a spot paid is the host's own bookkeeping.

When a raz is drawn, the winning spot number is shown to everyone in that raz. The winner can send a shipping address straight to the host so the card can be posted, and nobody else can read it.

A drawn raz keeps its result in the group's history, so members can look back at which spot won.

Payments and memberships

Card sales and raz spots are settled between collectors, off the platform. Slabby's does not process those payments, does not hold the money, and cannot see whether one was made.

The app's own paid features — Premium membership at $19.99 a month or $200 a year, and a marketplace Boost at $4.99 — are handled by our payment processor, Stripe. Your card number never reaches Slabby's. What we keep is the customer and subscription reference, the plan you are on, and whether that subscription is active or still in a trial, so your account knows what you are entitled to.

When we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it with the service providers that run the app — hosting and storage, email delivery, payment processing, card pricing, and the automated services that read card photos and estimate values — only as needed to provide those services.

Group owners, admins and moderators can see and approve the content, members and razs of their own group so they can keep it in order. App administrators can reach records when they need to moderate content or look into misuse.

We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect members from fraud or harm.

Keeping and deleting it

Your details stay while your account is open. Deleting your account from your Hub closes it and signs you out.

Cards, listings, posts and messages you have put up are not removed by deleting your account. Email support@slabbys.app and we will remove them for you.

Some records outlive the account in any case: the other collector on a completed deal keeps their own copy of it, and a drawn raz keeps its result in the group's history.

Your choices

You can edit your display name, username, bio, avatar, interests and payment handles in My Account, mark individual collection cards private, stop watching a card, delete your own listings, razs and messages, and turn any kind of alert off.

To ask for a copy of your information, or for anything else about your data, email us at support@slabbys.app.

Security

Private details such as your licence photo, legal name, address, payment handles and purchase prices are stored so that only you can read them, and the licence photo is only ever opened through a short-lived link that expires. Each member can act only on their own listings, offers and messages.

No system is perfect. Use a strong, unique password and tell us if you think your account has been accessed by someone else.

Children

Slabby's is for adults. You must be at least 18 to buy, sell or trade here, and we do not knowingly keep information about children.
